- the grant opens at 9 am on 06 September 2023 and will close at 5 pm on 12 September 2023.
- the Registration of Interest form should take about 3 minutes to complete.
- the registration forms Stage 1 of the application process.
- please leave plenty of time to fill it out, review and submit it
- help is available during business hours (see Before you begin below)
- the program is competitive, meaning applications are assessed against eligibility and assessment criteria.
- DYJESBT will only invite a select number of applicants from stage 1 to complete a full application in stage 2.
- there is limited funding available for this round; submitting a registration does not guarantee progress to stage 2.
To be eligible to apply:
- your business need to have between 2 and 19 employees (by headcount)
- your business needs to have a turnover between $300,000 in the last financial year (2022-23)
- your business need to have Queensland headquarters*
- you cannot have been approved for funding under Round 1 or Round 2 of the Business Boost grants program.
- you must meet the full eligibility criteria as listed in the guidelines.
- DYJESBT won't accept partially completed applications. Please ensure you complete and validate every field.
*Your business must maintain this eligibility for the duration of the grant-funded activity.
The Business Boost grant program:
- Requires successful applicants to co-contribute a minimum of 50 per cent of the total project costs, and
- Does not provide up-front grant funding. It is paid AFTER your project is completed and the benefits achieved for your business. You must also submit the required acquittal documentation.

Navigate (move through) the application form
On every screen (page of the form), you will find a menu linking to every application page. Click the link to jump directly to the page you want.
You can also click 'next page' or 'previous page' on the top or bottom of each page to move forward or backward through the application.
Saving your application
You can save your application as you progress through to submit it.
Download your application
You can also download any draft or completed application as a PDF. Click on the 'Download PDF' button at the bottom of the last page of the application form.
Submit your application
To submit your application, you must Review and Submit it.
The Review page will show you your entire application and any validation errors (in red boxes).
You must resolve all validation errors before you can submit.
Click 'Submit' at the top or bottom of the screen or navigation panel to submit your application.
You can't edit your application or upload attachments once you have submitted it.
Completing an application in a group/team
Several people can work on an application using the same login details if only one person is working at a time. So ensure you save as you go.
